He’s home | Devon Larsen 5.24.10
I just got the call from home that Devon has magically appeared. Once again its the David Copperfield blood that runs through his kitty veins. He must have had quite an adventure as he’s been gone since Friday mid-afternoon. Jim opened the door between the garage and house and this streak shot right pass him and straight to water bowl so he must have been without food or water this entire time.
When I get home from work tonight I’ll do what any parent would do which is hug him tight, smother him in kisses then look him square in the eye and tell him if he scares me again like that by all that’s holy there will be hell to pay.
Thank you to everyone who passed along their thoughts that our boy would be reunited with his family. For now we have a Happily Ever After ending.
YEAH!!! That is the BEST news! I am so happy for you and your family!!!!
Oh, that’s wonderful news. So happy for all of you!
I am so very happy for you & yours. That is the bestest!!!!
Love & Hugs,
Pam
AHHH I am SO excited and happy for you! Silly little guy! I would do the same when I got home and also probably put him under house arrest! LOL! I know you are beyond happy.
He is a teenager in cat years but I’m not sure house arrest works with that age. LOL
I was hoping I would find a new post from you in my google reader saying Devon is home and here it is! Give the little devil a big hug and a little scolding for terrifying his Momma so. I have a Houdini also. I know exactly how you feel! Glad Devon is home!
I think I used up a couple of his cat lives worrying about the little stinker.
Whew!!! REALLY good news.
Fantastic news:)
SO happy for you and “the Great Escape artist Devon
I love a happy ending! Glad to hear the fantastic news!
Oh, I’m so happy to hear that little guy made it home safe and sound!!!
I’m so glad your kitty came back! He is adorable, by the way.
My cat Alis is always trying to get outside and we have to be very diligent in keeping her in. I’m just so afraid if she gets out that something will happen to her. One good thing is that she doesn’t like it outside when it’s really hot so in summer it’s easier to keep her in.
All good things that end well.
very happy to hear that all is well and that he made it home and safe.
YAY!! Welcome home Devon! It’s such a relief when a missing pet comes back. We’ve had many over the years. Cats have such attitudes and do whatever they want. It’s torture when they wander off! I’m so glad he’s safe and I hope he got that out of his system. He’s such a cutie!!
I missed your post about him missing…so glad he found his way home. What a relief!
