I’m so sorry to hear about your loss. I had a very similar experience with my lovely cat Snowball a couple of years ago. It’s never easy to lose a pet, but when it happens so suddenly it’s just that much worse.

  • That must have been awful. unexpected ailments can be hard to get over. I’m sending you well wishes

  • I am so sorry for your loss. You post hit me particularly hard, because it is almost one year ago exactly that my cat Daisy — who looks like the twin of your Daisy (same eyes even) — passed away. She was old and her time had come, but she went unexpectedly in her sleep. So when I saw you picture and your post, my husband and I both started to cry.

  • My condolences to you and your family for your loss. Daisy was a gorgeous kitty and seems to have been loved dearly. Our thoughts are with you!

  • Marcia says:

Thank you everyone for your kind words and thoughts. Daisy was indeed a special girl as are all our felines. Jim & I decided early in our marriage not to have children of our own so the fur kids are very dear to us. She will be missed but lives on in our memories. Lucy, Daisy’s daughter, is a little out of sorts today so she’s been getting extra special attention. The feline lords and ladies of the Larsen manor held a memorial dinner last night in Daisy’s honor sharing a couple of cans of tuna. :-)
