This is such a striking cover! It looks very elegant, it has classic beauty. I thought the frame was part of the cover! Maybe you should send them your idea and they could add it for the reprints! I’ve never heard of this book but it sounds very good. I think I’ll be adding it to my list.

The reason I am contacting you today is to let you know about RIF’s Read with Kids Challenge going on now through June 30 at http://www.RIF.org/readwithkids

Our goal is to collectively log 5 million minutes read with kids. There are great prizes including a family trip to Disney, and we have a slew of honorary team captains including children’s book authors Eric Carle, Sandra Boynton, Mo Willems, among others.

You do find the best looking covers with the added bonus that they sound terribly intriguing too!

My youngest child would love this feature since he chooses his books based on the cover alone. He is actually quite a good reader but he never reads the cover blurb, just pulling things that “look cool.” It was how he came home with a YA book the other day (he’s all of 7 himself) but we’re hoping his older brother will read it since he thought the cover looked really cool too.
